    Default PIC as USB host

    Maxim has a new processor independent chip that can act as a USB host. It uses SPI to interface with your PIC (or whatever).

    It's not a new one (over a year... maybe 2). However, you can find some interesting library on GHI website
    http://www.ghielectronics.com/details.php?id=13&sid=26

    Their UAlfat chipset use this MAX chip.
