Default Need LCD for for Tektronix Oscilloscope

    Hello Everybody,

I have got two TDS-210 DSO from Tektronix. Which are quite old now. One of the LCDs of the two is fried!! The other is having bubbles on it and may die soon. I tried contacting Tektronix for replacement part but no reply from them.

The part used is a graphic 320X240 LCD from Sharp having part number LM32P073 . Tried Googling but in vain.

Please help me sourcing them cause I do not intend to throw away my scopes (Actually I don't have money to buy new ones!!!!)
    Regards

    Sougata

    http://www.transcat.com/

Not sure if they sale the parts so far...

    and Their India service?

I've heard they're slow for tech-support... while they're fast for new sales...

I'll ask to a service center i know here this week. Maybe they have some already in stock.. i have one tds210 as well... so maybe i may need that part one day as well

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.

    Default Thanks Steve

    Hi Steve,

Thank you for giving me the pointers. The scopes are pretty old models (10years or more) and in India the tek representatives are not entertaining parts (old parts rather) enquiry also the calibration is due and I don't know whether they would do it or charge a hell to motivate me purchasing a new one. In my desperate attempt I bought another TDS210 from an auction is as is where is condition. When I received the unit I found that the LCD is defective. Rest okay. The mainboard, SMPS, Interface (All rotary encoders working). So ironically I got all the spares except the LCD. If any time you need something (other than the LCD) please do let me know.
    Regards
