Default EasyHID 18f4550 - DEVICE NOT RECOGNISED?

    Hello,

I have a problem with USBDemo of mister-e.
I program my 18f4550 and when I connect it to my Laptop WIN XP SP2 I have a message DEVICE NOT RECOGNISED.
The strange is that I do not have problem with an other PC WIN 98!!!

Does anyone face the same problem?
Is something that I can do with the WIN XP?

    Please advice
    Regards
    Nikos Geronikolos

Not that it would make much of a difference...but...
Are you logged in as a User or an Admin, maybe a User with Admin rights, maybe a Guest...maybe have a hacked copy of XP?

i've never tried with USB 1.x ports yet... maybe there's an issue with them?

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.
There's no problem, only learning opportunities.
