Still searching for where to buy some really tiny LCDs, like the one on the front of my Mobiblu Cube, looks like it's about a 64x32 type, about .6" x .4", really tiny, probably really expensive in small quantities...

    Default Moonwalk

    Hello Darrel & skimask,

This looks like a good place to post this, did anyone here do the Moon Walk in London England on the 19th? I just got an email asking for donations from Crownhill, a little late but I still might donate a little to do my bit. I wonder if Melanie was out there with a couple of reluctant young techies in tow....... According to what I read there was a few brave men out there. WOW, can you imagine being surrounded by 15,000 power walking women, could be a little scary or maybe a great opportunity........

The Moonwalk in London takes place overnight on 19th May 2007 when 15,000 women and a few brave men will power walk a marathon or half marathon around central London with the united aim of encouraging health awareness and raising £6 million for breast cancer research and cancer care.

    Regards

Yep, nice country, but jeeze, what do they charge these days if you crash into a tree?
Back in '96, at Ramstein AB, the group I was with (not me personally, but a bunch of boneheads I worked with) backed a C-130E wing/aileron into the top of some sort of evergreen and broke off the top 6 feet of it...we got fined something like $12,000 by the gov't ($2K/Ft).
Does that still go on over there?

mmm Ramstein... awesome band. I still play Du Hast here at nightclub. Not something GandPa or GandMa would listen

I have their DVD here... i still wish to see them live one day

They have been banned in the USA awhile back... not sure if they're still... too bad.

I like the music, but I can do without the English translation versions of the songs, even though I don't speak German. I kinda like not knowing what they're saying, don't care what they're saying anyways, good music under those lyrics...

I'm not sure what the rules are for that kind of stuff over there.
We were fortunate enough not to clip any trees! There's one experience I can do without.

    What'd you do over there?
I was USAF, TDY to Ramstein a few times with Little Rock AFB working C-130E's, Guidance&Control. Stayed in Sembach (sp?), hung out at the Irish Pub (if that's what it was called, if it's still around).

That sounds more interesting than what I was doing. I was there to update some of our global specifications for paint. Yep... I'm a paint guy. Microcontrollers are a hobby for now, and hopefully I can make a few bucks with them someday. I visited the plant sites in Neumunster, Germany and Nordborg, Denmark. Good people.... good beer!

Default Playing around with the wife's camera

Made a few short vid's of my OBD scanner I built. Not sure how to put the clip in the post like everybody else does it... And I can't seem find the page here that describes all the various tags (such as [code], [quote], etc) to enable it.

Here's a link to part 3 of 5. The other parts are done uploading.

Or just do a search for "Mr. Scanner ELM327" and there should be 5 to choose from.

Use the Embed: code from that page

ARG! That's where I screwed up! It wasn't winter! I don't have the mask on!
Now that my identity has been revealed, should I give up my day job?

The videos show up much better on my PC at the house.
Does youtube recode them or something?

Did a bit of checking...says that .flac is a 'lossless' compression method.
Maybe it's the size rescaling of the video that makes it look a bit goofy to me.
