    Hello,

I would like to know why some pic chip do not come with EEprom ?
I guess external memroy is needed to operate the chip?
Isn't the program we write go into the EEprom ??

For the same reason that some comes with USART, somes not, some with ADCs, somes not...

NOPE, if so it's not called a PIC.

NOPE, EEPROM is just an extra storage place... nothing to do with the ProgramMemory OR RAMmemory.

kind of, PC with/Without 2nd hard drive, 3 1/2 Floppy disk, FlashCard reader and so ON.

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.
There's no problem, only learning opportunities.
