Please answer my first question

Hello,

I have started in using PIC16F877 in a project to send SMS from nokia 6210. My friends advise me to ask my question in your forum to get help. I have read a lot of threads in your forum and in internet about my question but still I didn't get a final answer. My question is: Can I connect PIC16F877 directly to 6210 pins without any interfacing circuit (RS232 & MAX232) in between? And if not so how it will be done?

To complete my question: To connect PIC16F877 pins to nokia 6210 should I solder wires in between or there is certain connector?
