Question Reading and Writing from SD/MMC cards as FAT filesystem?

I would have tried search but it complains that the search terms of "sd, fat, mmc" are all too short and it has removed them from the search .... :-(

I'm looking for PBP source code to write/read to an SD/MMC card as a FAT filesystem. It doesn't even have to do file directories, just files.

    Thanks!

Well, I already have compsys's source code. It is very raw, but then what do you expect for $23.- ? It only works with small SD card sizes, and it only works with 1 file. Definitely not a wholesome SD filesystem library.

The SD card tutorial is well ... in Italian ... which I don't read/speak/understand.

I have ordered the uALFAT dev board and chip to evaluate.

However I really don't want to add the chipcount (means more power consumption, and board space).
