    Smile Help choosing right PIC

Can anyone suggest a good PIC to use that has 2 8bit I/O ports + ports for comms between pics as well as A/D, can be on one of the 2 I/O ports but would prefer on different port?

    Hi Darren,

Have you gone to the Microchip website? The have charts there that list all of the different micros they have and what "guts" they have. You probably should try the 16F877 or 16F877A. It's a 40 pin chip but it has what you are looking for. And while you are on their site download the datasheet for the micro. You'll be a needing it!
