    Hi is it possible to program a Cygnal microcontroller with pic basic?

    Stretching credibility to the limit - is it even remotely compatible to a PIC? Have you compared pin-outs, Datasheets, Internal Archetecture, Instruction Sets? Do they advertise them as PIC compatible?

    Default 8051 derivative

    The Cygnal microcontrollers are a high speed 8051 style microcontroller. PicBasic will not compile code for these.

    To program these parts in Basic you may want to try BASCOM-51.
