Exclamation FYI Daylight Saving Time in the U.S.

FYI for those that are planning products that rely on DST changes in the U.S., I clipped the following from a California web site:

Beginning in 2007, Daylight Saving Time is extended one month and begins for
most of the United States at:
2 a.m. on the Second Sunday in March
    to
2 a.m. on the First Sunday of November.

If you would like to read more about it the site address is:

    http://www.energy.ca.gov/daylightsaving.html

I have read, it will be reviewed and could possibly revert to the 2005 DST schedule if the impact warrants the change back.

What they don't tell you is how much it is going to cost the people to make these changes. Just think about all the embedded controllers, computers, industries, you name it. Why not change the frequency of hydro to 50Hz while were at and really make a mess.
