    Default First attempt in over a decade at USB - HIDmaker FS2

    Using:

    HIDmaker FS2

    PIC-side:
    PBP3
    MCS+5

    Visual Studio 2022 v17.5.4
    Framework v4.8
    C++ Winform

    Took the first demo, copied into a test folder, compiled and both ends, and BAM! It's running.

    HIDmaker FS2 has evolved a LOT, it covers several PIC compilers and PC compilers now. Really looking forward to integrating some of my code into the PBP and C++.

    I worked with Bob on the PBP output on the FS, especially with the PIC16F versions. The number of Buffers are different than the PIC18F versions, along with addresses, etc. The version I got when I first bought HIDmaker couldn't process working code for the PIC16Fs. I believe he also updated the XC8 outputs to use C99 instead of C89 (which was implemented in XC8 v4.00). In other words, he put effort in to updating it.

    I moved my reply over to https://www.picbasic.co.uk/forum/sho...-USB-interface. I wanna try to keep this thread more technical.
