The default configuration of Chrome browser is to redirect all httpo requests to https

In Chrome, there is a way to prevent this
    1. Go to chrome://net-internals/#hsts. Enter example.com under Delete domain security policies and press the Delete button.
    2. Now go to chrome://settings/clearBrowserData, tick the box Cached images and files and press click the button Clear data.

The instructions should now be redundant since the site is now ssl compliant..Thus forcing http may now cause an issue !The site should now load as https with a secure padlock symbol.
