    Cool Ds1302

    Hello all,

I just started to learn about PICBasic Pro an have a question.
I have a project in mind and I would like to read a DS1302 and display the time on a LCD.

But I don't have a clue how to write the program to set and read the DS1302.

    Thanks for any help.

    Willie

    Hi willie,

First off, I would recommend changing to a DS1307. The DS1302 has a nasty little problem that makes it stop counting time when power is applied. The 1307 seems to work much better.

But if you still want the 1302, just search the forum here for DS1302. You'll find several threads on it, should get you started.
