    If you are interested in a solution how to use the MSSP Module for "non standard" serial communication...

    i.e . PIC as:
    I2C Slave
    or
    SPI Slave
    etc...

    then vote and share your knowledge and experience here.

    Jerry, don't get upset if you don't get a response to some topics. This, along with some others like TCP/IP Stacks are no-go areas for the professionals on the list who know how. If I post the code today, I won't have a job tomorrow. It's not a case of keeping it 'secret', it's a case that it cost time and money to develop and gives my products an edge which I don't want to hand neatly packaged to my competitors who are struggling. If you really need this, PM me off list and we'll talk Licencing, but unless it's a large volume commercial project, it just isn't going to be economic.

    @ Luciano,

    thanks for the link.

    during the many hours of searching the web for examples I had already found it.

    eventhough this example was not very clear to me it has helped to solve the problem.

    @Mel,

    I have never asked for "ready to run" code,
    just some pointers to get started.

    however, the problem is solved, and you have pointed out that there is no reason for me to feel bad with not sharing the solution.
