Default MeLabs pgmer not starting automatically from Microcode Studio

    PIC Basic Pro X v3.0.8.4
    MicroCode Studio Plus v5.0.0.5
    MPASM v5.65

Now if I can just figure out how to start up the MeLabs USB programmer automatically from Microcode Studio Plus like it used to on my old laptop.

I searched the forum but couldn't see anything. I thought it might have to tweak the parameter string, but have no idea what to put there.

    I currently have:
    /DPIC"$target-device$" $long-hex-filename$

    Robert

EDIT: This is what the screens look like:

Did you find this post helpful? Yes | No

Default Re: Can't install PBP v2.46 on Windows 10

The only thing I can think of is that I have to click YES for UAC when I manually fire up MeLabs Programmer.

I have v4.32 of MeLabs software, so I have it set in Win7 compatibility and run as administrator in properties.

Something tells me I have to pay for the latest version of that as well.

EDIT: Bingo! I tested v4.61 beta and that did the trick.

Now to see what upgrade prices are like.
