Hey all you BIT nerds!!

Anybody remember the Cosmac ELF?? Circa 1978.

Well if you do (and even if you don't) take a look at the "Membership Card" kit by Lee Hart
http://www.sunrise-ev.com/MembershipCard.htm

This is a great little kit that I got for Christmas. It's a clone of the original Cosmac ELF. One of the earliest computers to be available to the BIT nerd-wannabees back in the day.

I have had a great time figuring out how to make the LED's count in binary and all the fun stuff associated with programming in machine language.

One thing is for sure... it will make you appreciate the capabilities of the PIC micro-controllers that we have available now. What with all their fancy A/D pins, PWM, onboard memory, Capacitive sense, timers, etc.etc.etc..........etc.etc!

disclaimer... no relationship to me, just a satisfied customer.

PS. the kit is supplied with slightly different toggle switches than the front panel is drilled for. If you get the front panel you just have to drill out the holes a little bigger.
