    Default PIC16F84A vs PIC16F84

I have just purchased the PICBasic Pro and it should be in the mail in the next day or two. With PRO if supports PIC16F84A but doesnt have PIC16F84 is the list. As far as I understand the 84A is just a newer version of the 84. I am hoping that I can use the two 84 chips that I have to start coding. However, I will need to purchase a few 84A instead?

    Thanks for the help.

Not to worry. PBP supports them both.
