    Default JDM Programmer2 question

I plan on building the JDM Pic-Programmer 2 but I only have a 9-pin serial port. Am I correct in assuming that I can just wire it like there's a null modem in between?

    So:

TxD (Pin 2) goes to Pin (3)
GND (Pin 7) goes to (5)
CTS (Pin 5) goes to (8)
DTR (Pin 20) goes to (4)
RTS (Pin 4) goes to (7)

    Diagram: http://www.jdm.homepage.dk/newpics.htm

I plan on using IC Prog to program a 16F88. Anybody else try this?

Since it's free and all the needed parts can be found in the garbage, you're certainely the only one who want to used this method.

SO on this thread you'll find more than you need.

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.
There's no problem, only learning opportunities.
