Unhappy How to define serial protocol ?

    Hi there ,
I am trying to do RS 232 communication between two PIC, 16f1934 using hardware USART, I have the routines for USART in HiTech C , but I am not getting that how the USART understands that the communciation is RS 232 prtocol or I2C or any other kind of serial protocol ?

    Thanks ,

    Hi,
Most of us here work with Pic Basic. You might have better luck over at the piclist.

Or download the demo of PBP and give that a try. Not sure if the demo does the 1934, but you will see how easy things are with PBP.
