I think it varies with the version of Windows. It works on my XP Pro machine but not on my W98SE laptop.

    Hi Dave,
I use W98SE exclusively on my shop computer and the wheel mouse works . . .mostly . . . you have to tell the mouse software to work in MCS . . .and sometimes it forgets.

Neither my Toshiba laptop nor my mouse software offer any such option. However, IIRC, the wheel works on an older desktop that also runs W98Se so I guess it's more a matter of the PC & mouse rather than the OS.

Microsoft Intellemouse ver 4.? . . . gives you program specific options to allow wheel mouse to work in older programs not originally supported. Who would have expected that from Mr. Gates ?

    Hi,

    From intellipoint 6.2 Help
