    Default Simulation

Is there a cheap simulation option for PBP like the Proteus thing bundled with the new Proton?

    A bread board

I don't believe in those simulation software since they don't really represent the *real life*. BTW as i read, you can use some simulation under MPLAB... better to read the whole PDF MPLAB manual first.

There is a very good simulator, I use it already for some years.
They call it PIC Simulator IDE and you can download it at:
    www.oshonsoft.com
    Succes with it.

I take your point mister_e but I'm a lazy s*d and want to sit on the sofa with a laptop. The Mplab route is not for me, I don't like Mplab.

Matt, I'll have a look at that.

    Thanks both for the comments.
