I would think tighten up the adc values comparisons to fill in the gaps so reading doesn't fall off........ <160 next to >161, etc
Couldn't you knock out all the stuff, Schmitt ic, r's, c's ...... and just use 1pause for say 2 milliseconds when check switch....... check sw-if change or if zero- pause 2 ( or 3 or 5 milliseconds)...
hey man,...... YOU DON'T USE AT STUFF........
What you do next is......1) power up 8266... (3 volts)
2) Look at your live WIFI network list for the ESP device and...

I would think that for now....... the AI can give a general computer algorithm to do a task but not exact syntax
If this comes through, here is the zipped 4 files to load and the screen shot for the locations they have to programmed to. I believe all this is still on Jeelabs git pages.
I'm sure you know that...
That is what I found about these 8266's. Plus I wanted to just deal with the serial/data/programming with the PIC and not have to add all the CWxxx's in the communications back and forth. So, the...
I found that web browsers block from trying to access your internal network like putting 192.168.X.X into the address bar ...... But, old Hyper Terminal will connect and do send/receive except it...
Yes, instead of bridge, could use 'connection'......... what program or app would you use on the PC to receive and send data?
do anyone want to try the ESP8266 programmed to be serial to WIFI 'bridge' ?? This is a few years old but all the info and files seem to be available.
Here is the link for github page

How big a file or text to send/receive ?
about 6 months or a year ago I mentioned an 8266 UART-WIFI bridge. After programming a few files into it, after that it just starts up able to send and receiving at set baud over your wifi settings....
Ahhh, so you think there 'is' a chance for PBP to support 16 bit stuff ???!@#$
I would suppose that there are good simulations and faulty simulations
One important thing I learned from my EET courses years ago ..... circuits have 2 responses to a change in voltage/current. There is an initial response that relates mostly to inductance and...
this simple circuit worked with PIC serial TTL to USB for send/rcv to PC. Just used a second USB to serial converter and actually used a 1K ohm R, then can view both sending and receiving. Open...
I don't want to infringe on his post here........
The solar makes DC voltage, sometimes they stack the panels to get say 120 VDC or more, then somehow (with inverters that use PWM) introduce...
That is a good question, but on that subject, I have been wondering how the solar panel 'micro inverters' or whatever other method they use to introduce the current from the solar panels directly...
one thing you could do if you don't need data in real time is LOG the traffic to file, then read it. Hyperterm can log text and so can realterm I think. Some terminal programs may be able to add...

for that type of thing, I would think a relay would be appropriate.

if there is room, you could put some 'temporary' code to serout or debug at a few locations and see where it isn't doing what is expected ! looks like there are quite a number of 'states' your...
debounce button check... and instead of while-wend .... use for/next pause here is 2 second check so if holding button > 2 seconds, can advance MENUitem then check again for release

well, the 7805 takes up to I think 32 volts at the input so you could use any adapter that is under that voltage with only exception that the input has a minimum of about 1 volt over the regulated 5...
