Back to the Firewing.:)
If it works with Experimenters and Chuck versions that will fit in with our plans.
Then we can compare PIC Basic Firewing language Swordfish and Proton.
Firewing says...
MELabs D-Stick is a very well made product.
All MELabs hardware that includes programmers and boards is 'Professional Grade'.
The prices are the stumbling block for us.
The programmers make...
Will a Firewing board work with PIC Basic Experimenter's/Student version?

Couldn't connect to this site or Proton for the last two days.
Bootloader has become a side project. I have serial and parallel port hardware programmers as side projects too.
Thank you...

Did not get email alert about your response.
"Don't try to do it all at once."
It's more a case of looking into how 'user friendy' and 'wallet friendly' different Basic's are.

"Yes, I did buy it when I purchased MCSPX"
What is MCSPX?
Mechanique Bootloader sounds like it integrates with PBP3.0.
Dave

"Are you sure you want a bootloader?"
It's coming into focus here.
We need the hardware so that a PIC on a breadboard will program just like MELABS D-Stick and Experimenter boards.

Where are the instructions on how to do this?
Or do you just click program and installs itself on a blank chip?
Have PICBasic Pro installed and downloaded MEProg.
