Hello Henrik,
Thanks for the info. I would think also that Charles would get involved as it is the IDE for his compiler. I will contact David and see what he says. Thanks.
Hello I have PBP3 and MicroCode Studio Plus and MicroCode Studio keeps crashing. Is anyone else seeing this?
It really depends or what you want to do really. You may not need all the features of some pics(TM). IF I need to do some testing and need to print to a lcd I use a 16F877a as its easy to set up and...
Hi Robert,
I figured out my problem. I am using wireless serial adapters from lm technologies. I must have something configured wrong. If I don't use then and connect directly to my pic...
Hi everyone,
Does anyone here use VB6? If so can you take a look at some code and tell me how I might make it better?
Thanks Henrik,
I will give it a try.
Hello everyone,
I have a project where I read temperature and send it to the pc. I have a app that takes the data and displays it. What I need to do is only send new data in other words if...
You don't have to be a smart ass. Why don't you just multiply you km value by 6213/1000? it seems easy to me. maybe I am missing something.
Well I think there is a easier way to do what you want to do. doing a google search I have found that 1 kmh is equal to .6213 mph. what is km and km1?
Is the IDE able to use plug-ins? maybe a external program that you can call from the IDE that will parse the device info file and list the available fuses?
It seems that your code is in C. What compiler are you using?
Hi Mackrackit,
Im using a 16f628a and it looks like the code is for a 16F877a or something because it uses port C 6 and 7 for rx and tx. anyway I got something working. it turns out that...
Thanks for the reply Mackrat. I will try it,but I don't see how that will work for a 16F628a.
Hello everyone,
does anyone have a working example using a 16f628a USART? I am trying to just send a byte and echo it back to the serial terminal. I am using a Easypic7. Thanks for...
Hi enauman,
I would be curious of how you make out with this. I am trying to do something similar with gas model airplane engines. So far I have some code that works, but I think it...
Hi James,
I guess you mean a LCD? The best thing to do is enclose the lcd and have a clear lexan cover over the display.
Thanks I think There is enough info. here to get mo going.
Hi Scalerobotics,
Ok Thanks. I need to make a graph in excell and plot out the values from 1300 to 4000 using your formula. Then that would give me the numbers I need in my table.
Ok so using that example how do you figure out a delay needed for a given value at a given rpm? for example
2000 rpm we want a timing curve of 10 degrees BTDC. how would that work?
well this won't help, but whats the point of using a basic compiler if the code is in asm? you would get more help if it was in the pic basic language.
Thanks Scalerobotics,
So now I need to convert that to a delay that I can use. Thanks again.
Thanks scalerobotics,
Thats great info. Its funny that you mention C-H ignition. I actually know the guy that owns the company and this is for some ignitions he is working on....
Hi scalerobotics,
the curve I am trying to obtain is 5 degrees from startup(200) rpm to 1300 rpm. after 1300 the timing advances up to 4000 at 28 degrees.
Does anyone have any ideas?
