  2. Re: My code for ADC button handling, it works, but can it be slimmed down?

Why not use the genuine BUTTON command ?????????????????

of course, needs some "brainwork" and practise - and of course at least " read that f...... manual " ... "

but the result is worth the...

Re: issue PBP compile with win10

    +1 ...

    re-install PBP in another place : here it is placed ( by itself ) in " C: Programs ( x86 ) " for years ... but you can create a " C: PBP " folder ( i.e.) ... where you can also place all...
  4. Re: How to remove ghost directory from mocrocode studio

I do not think this problem is relevant to PBP, but to MCS ( Mecanique )

you could drop some lines here ;) https://www.mecanique.co.uk/shop/index.php?route=information/contact

  5. Re: How to remove ghost directory from mocrocode studio

    Hi, Sheldon

there's a nice little program called CCleaner that ... cleans all the unwanted "deposits" and old registry entries from your computer ...

Re: Psst, Can You Keep a Secret?!?

    Hi, Ioannis

Even after a thoroughful cleaning, the problem comes again ...

Working fine here requires The 5.30 Version ...

    Probably a new Win10 " feature "

Re: Psst, Can You Keep a Secret?!?

    Hi, Mpgmike,

    just a question about MPLABX 5.35 : Here ( win 10 up to date ) when I close it ... it automatically re-opens !!!

so, I had to turn back to V 5.30 ... to get something usable.

I didn't receive any notification nor for posts 8 to 11 ... just for the last one ( Yours )

  13. Re: Crystal oscillator variability between PICs?

If you need high precision timing ... just do use external oscillators like those : https://www.mouser.fr/datasheet/2/96/CTS_11052019_008-0258-0_I_MXO45_MXO45HS-1665263.pdf

    just my two cents ......

    Re: 12F675 vs 12F1840

    Hi, Ioannis,

I'd have a look to internal registers PBP default settings ( the PBP default Config file ) ... as you overwrite most of them ...

    just an idea ...

    Hi, Flotul

From the very far I remember ...

ALL Variables have to be initialized before using them ....

Only one exception : IF you write variables the first time you use them ...

    Re: breadboarding

    decoupling capacitors are missing !!!

the " magic " one : 0.1/0.22 µF as close as possible to the supply pins of the Pic , and a " reservoir " one say 100/220 µF in the vicinity ...

    Hi, Pedja ...

you just redraw the TL431 !!!

    just have a look to its " OFF " state current ... : Off-State Cathode Current IK(off) VKA = 40V,...

  23. Re: Current sensor output modification. PIC or opamp or something else?

    Hi, peter

why not use a TL431 or similar " zener effect diode " that will draw some current past 2.5v ...
  24. Re: How is this data being formed from the values given?

    Hi, Peter

I suggest you to try :
