I read the manual. Here is the program, i still don't understand this with Microchip Pic 18f4520.

The addr is what? and the [$00] is the data to write? Do i have to do 2 write commands to do a configure?

How does the blink.bas program know to use port b without now trisb or port commands, just high or low, and how can it be changed.

It is connected to a MAX232 . OSC is at 4 mhz. didnt know about the serial communicator. Nice toy. Still learning. But not giving up.
