Dear Sougata,
Im very glad to see Ur post after long time. I wish U all the best for
seminar and subsequent planned development.
I too agree with Ur aims on this project. Please add few more:...
Hi sayzer,
well here is the schematic. Im not so good in drawing like U.
I had a fridge which had thermostat gone bust. So I made this ckt and
saved lot of energy 0.75KWHr /day instead of...
Your very first statement is exactly opposite to end one.
Check size of X2 capacitor and normal metallised film capacitor. You will
find X2 atleast 2times bigger than normal. Obivously no...
Nice to see the modified diagram but U have missed a vital component.
There should be small resistor like 22 Ohm( Ur LAW) to 47 ohm in serries
with 1uf/250V capacitor ( Melani wont approve of this...
This whole thread, I think, is on the brink of veering off!
When U are choosing a very low cost alternative there are many conditions
which are subject to be adhered. first being a circuit a "live"...
Hi Navneet,
it seems that U are trying to reinvent wheel!
Please go thru the whole thread. In last post I mentioned one article
which is evaluation of PWM sinewave inverter. Also there has been...
I have seen in many posts that Melanie is asking to use X2 capacitors.
For the requirement of circuit the value posted in tb008 is correctly just
470n 400V type. These are available at half price...
Hi Everybody!
it seems that nobody is interested in this topic now.
I have found one interesting paper and hope everyone will have a look:
...
Hey ! all the time I thought I was most dumbo person for Basic espeacilly for
pretty type.
Now Im relieved that there is atleast one more and may be many thousands!
I hope Josh takes some...
The 6mA current is not much problem but input output differential of minimum
2.5Volts puts a big premium on efficiency. Most circuits have input of 9-10V for output of 5v. As such there is hardly...
Well estimated 1watt loss can heat LM317HV quite a bit.
I think that in the price of that regulator U can buy 2MKT capacitors
easily (Atleast in this part of world )
Please make calculations as...
I saw the AD595 datasheet and for temp below 0 degrees Celecius the
output -ve. As U have stated that that U have added voltage devider to gnd
pin of ad595 but whether the input to PIC is above 0V...
OK, "nothing is impossible!!!" is Adidas ad.
But have U considered the power dissipation in regulator?
Capacitor voltage divider is 'lossless' so there is hardly any dissipation
in dropper.
...
I checked these links and found to be very preliminary.
U should check the National Semiconductor's Opamp Circuits Application
note. If Ur input frequency is fixed then use Bandpass filter -Besel...
Hi,
have U checked with multimeter that U are getting proper voltage on
wiper of POT? Unless that is confirmed then no use of banging head like
Mister_E on program and PIC. ;-)
It is possible...
Hi,
U don't need racking Ur brain! As U have connected AD595 to +/- supplies
the output below 0 degrees Celesius is -ve. There is no problem in Basic
program. PIC A/D inputs cant read below 0V...
U should just check any old emergency light and not use PIC for for so simple thing!!!
I think U cant make odometer with just Hall sensor. What U need is Quadrature optical unit. By this U can sense whether car is going forward or reverse!!
Unless U want the reverse distance...
It is always better to use fullwave rectifier as capacitor may buid up charge
in half wave supplies. 63V MKT capacitors can work with 30V ac source. No need of expensive
X2 capacitors. Only need is...
Most of the LCDs with backlight are having 2 LED pins and they consume
100mA at 4.4Volts. Consider this with power consumption of LCD module which is just about 1mA !!!
I think one should apply...
Hello Volkov,
It is nice to put the output current requirements but what about the voltage? Is relay used is 24Vdc or 12Vdc? Even smallest "sugarcube" 24V dc
relay will take atleast 25mA !!! The...

I haven't seen the AD9833 datasheet. In analog it is very simple to make
PWM. What U need is to make a reference sinewave oscillator. This U can find
from Opamps Application note of National...
Problem is U haven't caught the thread! We are discussing eliminating
bulky 50Hz transformer for Inverter/UPS. Now there are upteen circuits with psudo sinewave output which are not upto mark in...
Hi,
thanks but this driver may not be useful as the half bridge ckt we are discussing. I went thru the datasheet and driver ICs Vcc is referenced to
lower mosfet. However in our case the lower...
