What is the difference when you activate the weak pull ups?
Because if you make a pin an input, isn't it tri-stated?
So can't you apply 5V directly to your pin without activating the weak pull...
It is indeed a good device but i don't see the type in Picbasic Pro, so can i program this device?

I have found the problem after reading the datasheet throughly, i have found that this kind of pic is a one time programmeble.
I have problems programming my PIC12CE674.
I have managed to program my PIC one time, and the program works so the hardware is correct i think.

The PIC12CE674 has the right amount of pins that's why i choose this one.

The PIC12CE674 doesn't do anything.
I have only connected de main supply at the the PIC12CE674, because in the configuration word you can chooce to turn on the 4MHz clock inside and the reset internally connected to VDD.
