    Re: Maths problem anyone ?...

Can you change the width of the pulses for each coin? This might help you ID the coins.

Also do you have access to the inner parts of the coin acceptor?
There must be a coin detect device that...
  2. Re: Capacitive Touch Button by using ADC channel (the CVD system)

    Thank you Dave and Norm.
    Isn’t that just “fishy”?
It looks like we got the complementary fish and learn how to fish in one strike.

    You are wrong Rene.
I didn’t ask for any hand out (not for me, I’m not interested in this particular topic but I certainly admire the efforts going on and how other members are dedicating their time...

    So Rene,

Are you getting closer to wrapping up your project and post it here?
It could save many members a lot of headaches and will catch everybody’s attention as a well crafted piece of code...

  6. Re: I need help to detect an AC burned heater element

One other approach will be to do a search in this forum for “transformerless” you will find ideas of simple circuits of powering up small loads (a LED part of the optocoupler in your case) .
    Use one...

    Re: Stepper Motor Giveaway

Some time ago I started working on a giant, three sided, garden clock but never had the chance to seriously finish the design.
This might be a good incentive to finish it and also make some use of a...

    Hi All,

I’m trying to find a post, similar to LCD on any pins, which was dealing with “patching” a 16 bit port from whatever available I/O pins are there. I’ve been trying few searches but could...

    • Keep your soldering iron tip clean all the time (use wet sponge) and re-tin the tip periodically (nothing helps better than a clean tip)

If I understand it correctly there will be an initial load of the OS. I do not have the tools to do that but, if it comes preprogrammed or somebody can do it for me, count me in with 4.

    Hi Megahertz,

If you want the LED to blink while waiting for input you must jump to your “Main” label after the timeout. Read the Serin command for more information.

    Thank you for your input.
I've been using optocouplers with good results before but had never used HCNR200 for analog I/Os. I'll give it a try.
