  1. Re: Interrupt stops while in SERIN2 "WAIT" state

DT's instant interrupts work during "WAIT" state.

At least timer interrupts worked for me; I am not sure how others would act.

Bur for SERIN2, once you start receiving data, you need to disable...

    Re: Pullup Configuration Help

TRIS bit must be set before WPU.
Individual WPU circuit is disabled once (IF) the port pin is set to be output.

IF you change the TRIS bit to be "output" somewhere in the code later, then WPU is...

    Re: Pullup Configuration Help

    Hi Andy,

I think you have already posted something similar in another thread, and I think you already solved your problem.
Why did you post a new one?

    just say "return".

Whenever it is hit, it will return to last call.

I had made something like this a few years ago.
    This is V1.0.

    V2.0 makes detailed output.

    Re: I2CRead problem

Using ready-to-use tools to adjust the registers as we need, kills our ability of playing with them, and lowers the understanding of the hardware registers.

Manual setting as much as possible is a...

    Same here.

This is a very nice work and, even more, Mike shares it here.

Thanks to Mike from this part of the world.

    Re: Goodbye

    I agree with this.

People with less electronic and/or programming knowledge are using Arduino with ready to use sample codes.
And if there is something wrong, they ask "you" to solve the issue;...

  14. Re: Serial data sent to 16F627A being read incorrectly by PIC?

If you connect PIC directly or via resistors to PC, 7 bits are sent only.

Add Max232 or MAX3232 type of RS232 chip in between the PIC and the PC.

    Check file attributes;

Right click the files that work; see how their attributes are applied; and apply the same attributes to other two that do not work.
