    Re: BME280 sensor.

seems possible , the fact that the bmp ver is less "hot" tallies with its lower power use [hum sensor nearly doubles the consumption]

my esp code uses forced mode letting it sleep between...

did that , even though i have had the boards for 2 months or more , got a full refund within a couple of hours.
quite surprised in a good way

    Re: BME280 sensor.

    henrik
    i made a little change

    used this style
    IF P2.15 = 1 THEN
    p2.highWORD = 65535
    ENDIF

for all the casts to long , it saves a worthwhile bit of code space

    Re: BME280 sensor.

excellent work henrik, way better than my fp attempt [nearly 10k in size] to get a result.
i confirm it gets same results temp and pressure wise as arduino calcs for same input data
    not tried hum...

nah, pbp needs a signed shift right command too. too hard me thinks. pic chip in bin, esp wins

    Re: BME280 sensor.

sorry no, i never actually used pbp for these sensors after discovering the real potential of esp chips

    Re: Erroneous mathematical processing?

maybe a config issue , there is not much i can see that would not work in the asm stuff unless the 8x8 mult works differently

you could try this , clutching at straws

    Re: Power Saving on 16f628

wake on serial input example, you would need to add code to eliminate floating inputs and disable unused "modules" to get the
    absolute minimum power use.

this wakes on any serial input and...

    Re: Erroneous mathematical processing?

i don't have one of those chips or the ability to sim it either but for a start

rather than trying to cram those extra vars into bank0 {unnecessarily} i would modify the include this way
    for...

my old proteus can't sim that chip but a 16f1825 is ok

done like this the "remainder" is time between pulses in uS provided overflow is < 2

    Re: PPS understanding on 16F15313

not sure your ioc solution will work
the ioc interrupt flag pir0.4 is not being cleared . you only clear the ioc pin flag, its not enough.

    Re: PPS understanding on 16F15313

i agree, its not very clear which "mods" apply to which dt-ints version
a simple example adding 1 extra or modified dt-int to each version would be clearer
adding a swag of int sources you will...

looking at PBP3_PPS_NOTES for ccp i see no mention of seting ccp inputs at all, its outputs

  23. Re: 2 didit up down counter using 16F628A program errors

if none of your programmers can find the chip and its connected and powered correctly then that issue needs to be resolved before you can continue.
there is no way forward with a dud setup or chip....

Re: Weird problem with large(ish) array access

the only thing i can think of it to verify the flash as written by the bootloader is set the way it was intended to be.
