I played with this code a little today and it works well....Thanks
Just a few minor changes can give 10 bits PWM resolution.
Change duty var byte to duty var word.
Add the line ECCPR1L =...

Alexander Avtanski has developed a very nice application called LCD Display Screenshot Generator, for displaying an LCD Screen Image. Alexander also developed the excellent N-Bit Math...
Nah... It's actually much simpler than that?!
Other fun and useful stuff that might be added, with various levels of cost and complexity:
Log generator run time
Monitor / Alarm fuel level
Monitor /Alarm engine or generator winding...
Ioannis,
I'm really just trying to fully understand this particular interrupt. It's a good learning exercise for me before I go on to other interrupts. I am learning that Darrel's routines are...
Steve,
I just checked it out on the web and it looks really nice.
Nothing like a new toy...errr tool with lots of buttons to play with.

Ioannis...You're right about this. the 250 mS delay is fine on the simulator, but is a little too short to be reliable with real hardware buttons. 400-600 is a better number for use on the hardware....
Steve,
Did you ever get that new O-Scope?

Well I think I've finally figured out some of the nuances of RBC_INT.
I think the last example I tried to use was not a very good way to test it out.
I tried to document this working code example...
Darrel,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I made a cut & paste error in my last post.
It should have stated:
Pressing Button RB.6 [RETURN] Runs the DO_RETURN subroutine. It then sends program to...
Hi,
I've been trying vary to fully understand the RBC_INT interrupt handler in DT_INTS-18.pbp.
So I wrote this little program, Created a simulator circuit model and also a similar hardware...
Please note that there are three include files in the above code which are required for it to operate.
N-BIT_Math.pbp
At its core is the Multibyte Arithmetic Assembly Library that was written by...
Features:
1) MAXIMUM TIME: 99 MIN, 99.9999999 SEC ...Really just a display limitation
2) MINIMUM TIME: 0.0000522 SEC also a display limit at 9999.999998 MPH
3) Time Resolution: 200 nS =...
Hi Darrel,
I finally got around top finishing up the Timer using the N-Bit MATH
I posted it in this thread:
http://www.picbasic.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=12634
I think it's really...
I posted the Code and PIC schematic part of this project in Code Examples Here:

Here is the rest of the Code:
Main:

LCDOUT $FE,$C0," MEASURING"
I = 1
This PBP project is a high precision timer and Speed Calculator.
Its designed to be used with a 2 sensor optical gate, though it can accurately measure the time of any single pulse.
It is mostly...
mtripoli,
You're probably right.
However the 74FXX chips cost less than $0.20 each.
Their switching speed is phenomenal...on the order of 3nS
My PIC timer project has a measurement resolution...
Thanks Dave,
Not sure why my query missed that post.
I'm about to pull this project back out of the bin and give it a go again.
Bob
Does any one know if it's possible to clock multiple PICs from the same external oscillator crystal?
I have a project in mind that might need multiple synchronized chips.
I've tried this...
Notes on 2-Beam Optical Pulse Generator Circuit.
The cross wired 74F00 NAND Gate forms a Set-Reset Latch due to feedback from the opposing output.
The output signal goes high when the first...
Greetings,
I developed this pulse generator to create an Optical High Resolution Timer and Speed Measuring device. It uses two laser beams as gates.

Also,
Here is something else to look at, that frustrated me for a while.
Note on the specs that the Vo LCD voltage may be specified relative to the supply voltage (Vdd) and not ground.
Use a...
Of course the downside is that it's 3 feet deep and weighs over 50 lbs.
It has two suitcase handles on top to be able to lift it.
I really do take pride in owning it, but unfortunately my...
