    Re: Goodbye

It really help to design an HMI fast. I am looking forward to see the 10" capacitive display because the resistive film makes them a bit blurry.

If the project does not need a touch interface, one...

    Re: I2CRead problem

Fuses and the like are a pain. So many new options on the recent chips. I hate it as I loose too much time from the programming itself, on figuring out how to set up a new (or older) chip.

    All...

    Re: I2CRead problem

It is not easy to me. I detest C lanquage. Despite my efforts so far, I did not managed to flip over.

    It looks very cryptic...

    Re: I2CRead problem

Thank you Richard. Will do that this evening.

I tried byte read, word read, page read, Nothing works and all var's are just a zero.

The chip is a 16F1939 but I am sure this does not matter....

    I2CRead problem

    Very strange problem.

Executing an I2CRead command does only I2CWrite as it is shown on the Logic capture.

This is my test code for an 24C64 EEPROM

    Re: PID-filter routine (2nd try).

Thank you Henrik for the reply.

Well, for the testing I did not had very precise call to the PID routine. It is based on a tide loop of 2 to 20 ms (Pause 2 etc) without having any other tasks to...

    Re: PID-filter routine (2nd try).

    Hi Dave.

Do you imply that high values make it hard to reach setting point?

The I clamp is in the list of the parameters. It is set to 100. Setting it higher makes oscillation worse to...

    Re: PID-filter routine (2nd try).

Hi Henrik. Thanks for your attention.

I started as you said, with zero the terms Ki and Kd.

The point of oscillation was a bit higher than the $250. About $0300.

    Then I increased Ki but...

    Re: PID-filter routine (2nd try).

Many time I tried the PID include on different projects but never with success.

This time I am determined to make it work.

The new setup has a 3 phase blower that sucks air from a container, a...
  12. Re: ac 220v measurement with differential amplifier

    1. Be very careful with such circuits. IT CAN KILL YOU INSTANTLY!!!

    2. Be very careful with the earth symbol, as it is the low voltage 5V or 12V common point and NOT the Power Line Earth!

Never said anything about the hardware, which by the way is very impressive, having WiFi, Bluetooth etc on a low price board. A really dream board, either Pi or other flavors.

I for one, am a guy that started with Basic and found it very difficult to jump over to C.

Tried many times but seems too difficult...

    Alberto,

not all tools are the solution to every problem. If you want just to write a few lines of code and run the code then OK. But you have a full featured computer to blink a led or do some...

Re: Programming RFM radio modules in Basic

SPI is not RS232. Sure Richard spot it. You need to revise your connections.

Also, your caps around the crystal, what values are?
