    Re: Si4702 FM Radio chip

Hi Brek. I saw you did post in Code examples under Si4703 instead of 02. I suppose it does not make any difference.

Can we delete this thread now?

    Re: I2CREAD/WRITE Clarification

Well, may be I am missing Breks point, but why bother to do that?

OK, we should not forget it is just a chip after all!

Hope it is not me requesting update now and then.

I am showing this to a friend.

  6. Re: ANNEX ESP8266 basic announcement and invitation

Next to battery button there is this text box. The number is different in the 3 pages. Does this 5 digit number represent the battery level?

  7. Re: ANNEX ESP8266 basic announcement and invitation

OK, it works now just fine. All 3 pages.

Very interesting what that little board can do!

  8. Re: ANNEX ESP8266 basic announcement and invitation

Funny... It worked once just fine and on a refresh just a blank page. Either Firefox or Opera same result.

P.S. Once I used dyndns service then went to no-ip. About the same, but no-ip...

    Wow! Impressive I say!

  10. Re: need a low frequency pulse out while still performing serial comms

May be, may be not. Buffer is 2 byte long only. There might be a situation of first 2 bytes received and then the timer interrupt happens while next byte is coming in USART. Obviously it won't be...
  11. Re: need a low frequency pulse out while still performing serial comms

If the serial communication is in the main loop there might be a possibility data will be corrupted.

Better serial be on ISR too, since there will be 10 bytes receiving (or sending), ring array is...
  12. Re: need a low frequency pulse out while still performing serial comms

Hserin I guess is the only way to be absolutely sure.

Also Hserin should be working based on Interrupts and on a ring array to collect one byte at a time for minimum delay in the ISR.

    Pulse...

    Re: Si4702 FM Radio chip

When you post your example in "Code Examples" we can delete this one.

I think is better to leave it for now, as someone may find interesting info here.

    I guess you mean

    or

    C:\Program Files\PBP3_1\DEVICE_REFERENCE

    Re: Si4702 FM Radio chip

    Nice job Brek!

Maybe you can indicate what buttons do (one can find though searching in the code).

    Re: 7-Seg display not counting

    Maybe something like this:

    minutes=time_in_seconds/60
    seconds=time_in_seconds//60

Re: PIC to PIC (3 digit LED display)

Also in your processing routines you use Pause and a subroutine bin2seg.

Maybe all together add a delay more than the time to scan serial port? Just a though.

You overall way of thinking is...

    Re: HTML and PIC communication

    Just saw this new thread:

And I think I'll give it a try.

Seems no point to continue this hard exercise!

Thanks for the post, but is it correct? Does not seem to "load" on a browser.

  24. Re: Need to drive 40 pins on variable change, is there a way to do it in elegant way?

Yeah I know but I think PBP system also uses the same name for itself. Rename and try again. Use more than 4 characters for variable names.

  25. Re: Need to drive 40 pins on variable change, is there a way to do it in elegant way?

Maybe then it is the variable that is not declared or is System variable.

    T4 looks like system variable...
