PIC with WIFI module

We wanted to use PIC24 for the wifi module we purchased, basically to send and receive data (signal strength, time data is sent/received). You think this is possible?

The module we used is the Secure Socket iWifi module from ConnectOne(http://www.connectone.com/products.asp?did=73&pid=61).

We're doing this for our thesis so we're pretty new to everything. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

There is no problem with your selection of a PIC24 with that wireless device.

You might have a problem trying to use MeLabs PICBasic with a PIC24 though.

I just read this now cause I didn't notice that the update was redirected to my Spam folder. Anyway, we are pushing through with using the PIC24 and I can say that we are making progress (baby steps though hehe). Just wanted to drop by and say thank you for the help. :) Wish us luck!
