Sending SMS with Nokia 3210/3310

Hi all

I have a Nokia 3210 and a 3310 GSM available

As I'm building a home alarm I would like to send and receive
SMS

Untill now I did not found any software to convert PDU formatted messages
Is there anyone who can help ?
or
Is it possible to send serial AT commands to the Nokia 3210/3310 ?

Hello,
I am not sure if your NOKIA has a serial interface since I do not know this phone. If it has a serial interface then you can certainly send AT commands to it and consequently read and send SMS messages.

A PDU to Text routine was published elswhere in the forum by bitmaniac.

You can check the "Pic to GSM Phone connection (HSerin problems)" threat where you can find some other details.

I wanto send sms using nokia 7250i. I want to use MBUS protocol as given my the pdu decoder published by kypros....

What is the format of the FBus/Mbus frame coming out of the phone? Is it like AT which is numiric string or Hex numbers.
