WIKI wish list

I know this is the PBP wish list, but I don't know where the wiki wish list is. :)

Any way, I would LOVE to see a tut about bootloader's. Not general idea, but specific application like:

Use <file in blank> bootloader like this.
download (or find on hard drive) file xxx.yyy
adjust settings x,y,z for a,b,c
compile and program

ok your target is now ready, to use it just, start <some program unknown to me> and do whatever it is that needs to be done. Again unknown to me.

I have surfed the forum and found bits and pieces of information, but there are holes in the info I have found.

Now I get the feeling there are more than 1 bootloaders available, and depending on who you ask, everyone has a favorite. So maybe a catagory then sections about different ones.
Possibly include a connection diagram and min hardware to make it work. If you like IOGear USB to RS232, then thats what you suggest.

I have been reading about bootloaders on and off for several years, but never was able to compile the information to actually use them.

Any takers?
