Can we have such IDE for PBP?
Silicon Labs has developed an IDE for configuring the 32bit MCUs.

It looks like a dream configuration tool. Can we have such an IDE for the more and more complex PIC mcus?

The AppBuilder Rapid Prototyping Utility looks very nice. Been able to "easily set-up and adjust pin configuration, map peripherals, configure clocking trees and generate source code all without wading through programming register bits in the data sheet" is a nice feature.
