Hi al!
I want to interface TTL magnetic card reader with PC via PS/2 Keyboard port
the card reader i m using is Tysso TTL MCR series which reads data from track 2,
the reader operates at 5 VDC & there are three more pins which are CARD PRESENT.
CLOCK & DATA. I have tried it with directly connected the data & clock signals to PS2
Keyboard port but it does not work out is there any other way to make it compatible with PS2 as i have heard that it shows the data content directly on note pad when card
is swiped.
Below is the datasheet of the card reader i m using.
http://www.barcode-manufacturer.com/magnetic_card/portable_magstripe/magnetic_card_reader_specification.html

Thanks.

Have you tried a search on "magnetic card reader" yet?

Yes i have search out some data but not exactly got it, there a keyboard wedge technique
which is like, the keyboard & card reader both connected simultaneously the keyboard inputs the card reader & card reader output at PS2 keyboard port but still missing what will
be the circuitry for this task.

Hi, you can take a look at Syncotek SC-750, it is one TTL card reader (http://www.syncotek.com/product/card_reader_1.html) with RS-232 interface, baud rate adjustable; USB port and TTL at optional.
Hope this helps!
