Is there any reference material such as code examples and schematic to accomplish this task. I am looking at the 16 ch 4067, only available in DIP? Also, what (dielectric) adhesive can be used to bond to a PCB? Does regular hot glue work?

I am going to retrofit an existing circuit and enclosure to accommodate 12 IR sensors. Any suggestions as to how to retrofit cables into an enclosure?

you can use about everything but no need it. Usualy epoxy glue is used.
