PIC as USB host

Maxim has a new processor independent chip that can act as a USB host. It uses SPI to interface with your PIC (or whatever).http://www.maxim-ic.com/quick_view2.cfm/qv_pk/3639

It's not a new one (over a year... maybe 2). However, you can find some interesting library on GHI website

Their UAlfat chipset use this MAX chip.
