I have been looking for a smaller, more efficient replacement for the L293DD quad motor driver IC. I only need about 100 mA of drive current, and wondered if there is an option that has a smaller footprint. I will be running two steppers, plus two reversible DC gearhead motors, and three 293s take up a lot of room on the board. Anybody tried the Zetex H-bridge IC? Any other suggestions?
