Hi, Many may be aware of a software called winsim51 -- like that- it actually simulates hardware on PC say 89s51 few resistors, clock and reset ccts, then a seven segment dispaly multiplex-- a sample software is given to simulate a counter and the whole thing executes and displays in action--

Now i only wonder whether there is a similar software for PIC also and i seek help in locating one -- this will really help hobbists.

The only one i know is Proteus/Isis/Vsm plah plah stuff.... but i don't use it.

There is one I use sometimes.
It's a nice one. I use an older version, but the newer can do more ( I think)

thanks for the feed back -- today i could see the demo version-- Really Nice-- i could simulate 7seg displays and vew the software driving them -- only problrm appears , we can not have Input to these portsfrom say keyswitches -- however it helped me-- being a hobbyist-
