After installing the newest version of MCS and the latest version of the EPIC programming software I keep getting this error when trying to program: "Target device does not match selected device". The MCS device window shows PIC16F628, the EPIC programming device window shows PIC16F628, the device is the same PIC16F628 that I have been using for this project. The numbers match from all areas. What is going on? Everything else is the same as before. I can look at the code that is on the chip now but cannot program because of this error. Again ,why,what or how did this happen? HELP
