Using a 16F84 and PBP, I've been successful gathering data using a PAK VII (http://www.al-williams.com/pak7.htm) chip for PWM channels and a MAX186 12-bit A/D for analog channels.
I'm currently dumping data into a Pocket PC via RS232, then into Excel
An improvement would be to dump directly into a data card (Compact Flach, MMC or equiv.)
The USB plug-in converters used as a small hard drive are getting quite cheap.
Is anyone doing this?
Is it feasible with a PIC and PBP?
