I am in the process of building project that will measure AC incoming voltage (120V RMS) and the load current through adevice (3-5.5mA RMS). Concerning accuracy, I am looking for .1V rms accuracy on voltage and .1mA RMS on current. Any ideas?

I was thinking of using a load resistor with a bridge rectifier to measure the current. I realize that there will not be isolation with this type of measurement and I don't have a problem with that.

For the voltage, I am thinking about rectifying the secondary of a 120-12V XFMR and using a voltage divider..... Has anyone attempted any of these ideas that might offer some ideas?
