I don't have a "TAIT Programmer" right off, but if you can use the El Cheapo PICmicro Programmer from Myke Predko
(see http://www.myke.com/elcheapo.htm ) then I have the schematic and board files in Eagle and you are welcome to copy. As it stands the board is 2 inch x 3 inch single sided, I added a 10 PIN HEADER for "OFF BOARD ICSP" and the board has an isolated flood fill (not a GROUND PLANE) to eliminate excess etching, everything is in 20 mil trace width. Attached is a small image file of the board, take a look and let me know if you want the Eagle files.

Hi Mike_Lynch

Thanks for the offer...I found some one who made this already, but the guy added some improvements too, so I downloaded the files, and made the PCB look much better and well organised...If some one can iprove it further, suggestions will be welcome...

Can you upload your eagle files too, they look nice in deed :)

Yes what you found looks very NICE. Is there a site available with information
available on that design?

Attached is El Cheapo.zip containing files for the board that I posted the image of. Zip Contains Eagle *.sch & *.brd files as well as PDF of the copper and GIF of parts placement for those who wish to build a board but do not have EAGLE. The PDF file may be used for Toner Transfer or to make transparancy for photoetch board.

File excedes the size restrictions will break down please hold. . . .

OK now it should work
El Cheapo-1.zip and
El Cheapo-2.zip

Hi

The site is in dutch language, I had to translate to unerstand what the guy was talking about, I found it by coincidence when I wrote PIC Brenner in dutch !!

If any one can translate what really was saying, that will be really cool, cuz there are lots of stuff there in deed...
