Just ordered some recent MicroChip offerings; PIC16F1704, 1708, and 1713 because of the Zero-Cross Detector (ZCD) feature. I then decided to check to see if these parts are serviced. I guess you already know the answer is no. Is there some way of using PBP3/MicroStudio to program devices not included in the files?

Are they supported by your programmer? If so, you can choose a similar device to compile the code for. Your programmer doesn't care what's in the hex file.

I have the ME Labs U2 Programmer. I spoke with Charles Leo and was told this family is now in the queue for the next 30 days. If it only requires a few tweaks, consider it done. If it requires a total revamp, don't hold my breath.
