View Full Version : Windows 8, and 64 bit OS compatibility Question

I'm sorry if this question has been addresses already, my search has found nothing.

I currently keep a older HP laptop with Windows XP for my PBPro, and U2 projects. I would like to move it to a new laptop, but they are all 64 bit, and Windows 8.

Can anyone who has done this and knows the answers, share it with me?

I am almost sure I used the software, and U2 on my 64 bit Windows 7 computer, but I will have to double check that one.

Thanks to those who reply..

Joe

I had no problems installing pic basic and micro code studio version 5 on Windows 8 64 bit. I think I set the compatibility to windows vista. the drivers for my PICFlash2 were a little trickier to get installed, but that is all working too.

Just keep in mind you must run the stuff as "Administrator"...
