View Full Version : help with pic16f870 a/d converter

i've worked with the pic 16f84 but would like to know how to go about initialising and setting up a simple a/d converter to convert my analogue input into a digital output to display on a seven seg display.Also how can i make a one minute timer so that after a minute my counter will be display the no. of times its incremented using the pic16f870. Its part of a project which im having endless difficulties with.much appreciated.

Hi Cammo,

What Mr E is telling you is that the answers to your questions are already out there. The people that watch and reply to this group are good people but they really encourage you to think for yourself and put the blood sweat and tears into it before you ask for help. Trust me I know from experience. Follow the leads posted by Mr E. Especially the first one. There are several FAQ sites that have the experience and wisdom of many with the answers to what you need.
